Flexport is a freight forwarding platform that provides solutions for businesses that ship goods globally. I worked within the Customs team and collaborated closely with Legal, Compliance and Product stakeholders to define and build important features and workflows for our internal users.
While there, I designed a key feature that unlocked the ability to sign enterprise level clients, which were crucial to Flexport's growth strategy.

Designing a crucial feature
I collaborated closely with cross-functional counterparts to define, scope and iterate on a business-critical feature, called Consolidations, that allowed Brokers to group shipments and mitigate import fees.
Working closely with our Compliance and Legal stakeholders was necessary due to the complexities of the experience being dependent on external government systems and regulations.
